The Lieutenant Governor, 18 Senators, and 45 Delegates have endorsed the Core Principles
so there is good momentum. We still need many additional endorsements however, before
Virginians are assured protection from the expanded reach of eminent domain which was
allowed by the Kelo decision, and before we are assured "just compensation" when property
is taken by eminent domain for a legitimate public purpose.
If your Senator and Delegate have endorsed the Core Principles, please call and let them
know you appreciate their taking a stand to protect your property.
If your Senator and Delegate have not signed, let them hear from you so they know "the
people" expect protection in 2007.
